HCV GBB games scheduled vs. May-Port CG on Tuesday have been moved to Monday, December 12th. (Tomorrow). All games will take place at the MPCG high school starting with 7th grade at 4:00 followed by 8th grade, JV, and then varsity. This change is due to impending weather on Tuesday. 📸 Hillsboro Banner

What is the LETRS training?
LETRS® (Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling), provides teachers with the skills they need to master the fundamentals of reading instruction—phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, writing, and language.

FYI: The Hillsboro Junior High and High School will have their winter band and choir concert on Thursday, December 8th at 7:00 P.M. at the H.E.C.


Hillsboro students involved in the Honor Society & Student Council joined Advisor Dave Schill in the Feed My Starving Children Program at the Mayville Armory today. The students helped hand pack meals which help feed kids to save their lives. Good work! #BurroPride





This afternoon the Traill County Sheriff's Dept. asked both schools to go into a "soft" lockdown while they were looking for an individual in the community. No one was allowed to enter or exit the building until we received an ALL CLEAR call at 2:00PM from the Sheriff's Office and we were able to continue with our school day.


FCCLA is sponsoring the 12 Days of Christmas at the HS.🎄Students, join in on the fun with these dress up days.


The Hillsboro Elementary and High School students will be participating in giving to those in need in the month of December by collecting donations to the Hillsboro Kiwanis Food Pantry. The elementary school is learning about the Super Hero word COMPASSION and how we can show ways of caring in our community. This is a great opportunity for all of our K-12 students to give back to the community that supports them all school year. Students can bring their donations to the school office. Thanks for participating.

Mrs. Podoll's first graders are working hard on opinion writing from the new Bookworms Reading Curriculum. They have worked hard to build to three sentences and are now editing their own work!
