The seniors at Hillsboro High School traveled to Bismarck on Wednesday, January 15th to participate in the “We the People” state finals. In this competition, the students participate in a Mock Congressional Hearing on different subjects about politics, government and the Constitution. They provide a four-minute opening statement to judges and then the judges follow up with six minutes of open ended questions. The seniors placed SECOND overall as a team and had TWO groups win Unit awards. Great job seniors!
